Loading in Hürriyet: street layout and the trip to the depot

The map data holds 55.2 km of local streets and 10 km of through roads here. Only 2 % of local streets are narrow and 2 % are one-way, yet mean grade is 8.9 % and 59 % of streets count as steep. As an inference, the approach slope matters more than street width, and the distance cartons are carried by hand changes with it.

The map shows 15 parking areas covering 7,852 m², which we do not treat as loading spots. It holds 2,214 buildings, but floor counts are entered for only 33 % of them and average 4.7 storeys.

The depot is in Sancaktepe. Our OSRM / OpenStreetMap estimate for the whole district, made in September 2026, is roughly 12–16 km and 10–15 minutes without traffic; we did not measure Hürriyet separately and promise no time.

  • Yakacık-Adnan Kahveci metro station

    According to Wikipedia (a secondary source), this underground M4 station stands in Hürriyet between the D-100 and Adnan Kahveci Avenue. It opened on 10 October 2016 with three entrances: tax offices, İETT stops towards Tuzla and the Yeşilbağlar side.

  • İSPARK open metro car park

    OpenStreetMap maps a paid car park called 'İspark Metro Açık Otoparkı' near the station; that it lies inside the neighbourhood is our calculation, and no capacity is recorded. We do not assume it as a loading spot.

  • Muhtar's office address

    According to İBB Open Data (dated 05.06.2025), the Hürriyet muhtar's office is at Emek Avenue No:1; it falls inside the boundary in our calculation and can serve as a reference point when giving directions around that avenue.

  • Kurfalı taxi stand

    In İBB's taxi-stand list, 'Kartal Kurfalı Taksi Durağı' falls inside the neighbourhood in our calculation. It can serve as a landmark in directions.

Name one of the three entrances or Adnan Kahveci Avenue. OpenStreetMap shows one-way stretches on that avenue, so we check together at the survey which direction to approach from.
