Street layout and the road to the depot
The map shows 31.6 km of local streets and 15.6 km of through roads. One-way or narrow streets are 9 % of the local network, and the one-way share is also 9 %. Ankara and Bakü avenues have one-way sections; agreeing on the vehicle's approach direction beforehand helps.
The mean grade is 4.8 % and 28 % of streets are steep (a surface-model indicator). The map shows 11 parking areas with 20,538 m² of parking, with no fill data. Floor counts exist for only 5 % of the 1,507 buildings; ask management about lifts and estate gates.
Our depot is in Sancaktepe, in Abdurrahmangazi, with no Bosphorus crossing. Our September 2026 OSRM / OpenStreetMap estimate puts Pendik at roughly 14–21 km and 15–20 minutes without traffic; Kurtköy was not measured separately, and no travel time is promised.
Known places in the neighbourhood
M4 Kurtköy station
Metro İstanbul's M4 page lists Kurtköy among Pendik's stations; the Tavşantepe–Sabiha Gökçen section opened on 2 October 2022. İBB station data shows it as active and inside the boundary (our calculation). It works as a direction landmark or survey-day meeting point; walking time was not measured.
Two entrances, three lifts
According to Wikipedia the station is on Ankara Caddesi, entrance 1 on the hospital side and entrance 2 on the avenue side, with 3 lifts. Agreeing on which to meet at reduces confusion (our inference).
Kurtköy Fire Station
OpenStreetMap lists the İBB-run Kurtköy Fire Station at Çinili Sokak 2. Useful as a landmark; do not park in front of it, since it may need to respond quickly (our inference).
The area and the neighbourhood differ
According to Wikipedia, the Kurtköy area spans many neighbourhoods; Kurtköy Mahallesi borders Sanayi to the east and Yenişehir to the north. By OpenStreetMap boundaries, Sabiha Gökçen terminal and Teknopark Bulvarı lie in Sanayi, Viaport in Yenişehir (our calculation). Including the neighbourhood name helps the vehicle reach the right door.
Which room fits which situation
1.8 m³ for a 1+0
A bed, boxes and a small wardrobe from a one-person flat or student rental usually fit.
2.15 and 22 m³ for a 1+1 and a 2+1
The map holds 1,507 buildings but no flat counts, so your item list sets the volume. Bulky furniture alone suits 15 m³; a whole two-bedroom home usually takes 22 m³.
3.28 m³ for a 3+1
Our largest option, for a big family home or two households in one room; we check the volume at the free survey to see how much fits.
4.What to bring to the visit
Measurements of large pieces, the building's lift and estate-gate rules, and a photo of the street where the vehicle would stop.

Frequently asked in Kurtköy
My address says Kurtköy but I live near the airport; which neighbourhood is it?
The Kurtköy area is wide and Kurtköy Mahallesi is one part. By OpenStreetMap boundaries the Sabiha Gökçen terminal sits in neighbouring Sanayi (our calculation). Writing the neighbourhood with the door number is enough.
Can items be collected near the metro entrance?
Station surroundings may be busy with pedestrians (our inference); a nearby side street or parking area can be discussed instead of waiting on the avenue.
Are Kurtköy's streets steep?
The steep share is 28 % and the mean grade 4.8 %; in Pendik's steepest neighbourhoods, Dumlupınar and Çınardere, it is 58–60 %. Entrances with steps can still lengthen the hand-carry.
