One-way streets and the road to the depot

The map records 19.9 km of local streets and 12.4 km of through roads. One-way streets make up 61 % and narrow streets also 61 %, so which side a truck can enter from without meeting oncoming traffic can be checked at the free survey (our inference). The mean grade is 4.7 % and 32 % of streets count as steep.

The map shows 10 parking areas; occupancy is unknown. It holds 942 buildings, but only 18 % carry floor data, averaging 8.4 floors, which should not be stretched to the whole neighbourhood. There is no lift data; ask the building management.

The depot is in Sancaktepe and the drive stays on the Anatolian side. Our OSRM / OpenStreetMap car calculation from September 2026 gives about 16–23 km and 15–20 minutes without traffic for Kadıköy; Bostancı is one measuring point but its own result was not separated, so we promise no neighbourhood-specific time.

Landmarks that help when giving directions

• İDO Bostancı pier

  İDO lists Bostancı among its Anatolian-side piers and says it does not run the car parks near its terminals. The Bostancı İDO taxi stand in the İBB dataset and the İspark İDO car park in OpenStreetMap both lie inside the neighbourhood (our calculation). The pier, taxi stand and car park are direction landmarks only, never truck waiting or loading spots; street access for a nearby address can be checked at the free survey.

• Bostancı Gösteri Merkezi

  The venue's own website gives Bostanlar Arası Sokak No:8 as its address and describes a 2,400 m² hall for 2,370 people; its OpenStreetMap point is inside the polygon (our calculation). The hall is a direction landmark only, not a waiting spot; the area may get busier on event days (our inference).

• Marmaray and metro stations

  In İBB's rail dataset the Marmaray Bostancı, M4 Bostancı and M8 Emin Ali Paşa stations fall inside the polygon (our calculation). Entrances are direction markers only; as foot traffic is likely (our inference), the kerbside situation can be checked at the free survey.
