Beylikdüzü storage

Storage demand in Beylikdüzü comes from two fabrics: tower blocks along the E-5 and slopes falling towards the Marmara shore. Our rooms are in Sancaktepe; we collect and deliver at your door and find the truck's spot with you at the free survey.

From new gated sites to low-rise shoreline streets: who needs a room

The district authority's record shows 10 neighbourhoods, about 37.38 km² and 422,988 residents (no year given). Barış has the fullest level data on the map: 42 percent of buildings carry it, averaging 10.2 storeys. In Adnan Kahveci only 8 percent do (average 11.5), and Kavaklı's 5.4 average rests on just 1 percent of its buildings. Tall blocks and low buildings both exist; we have no district-specific data on flat sizes.

On Ekşi Sözlük some residents write that new site handovers and building on vacant plots continue; that is an observation rather than official data, yet it fits households waiting out a flat refit, bridging two homes, downsizing or storing office surplus. İBB's plan-note amendment names all 10 neighbourhoods, and the municipality's Urban Transformation Directorate handles evacuation notices and rent assistance; with no published project list, we do not present transformation as the general reason.

Yakuplu to Gürpınar, towards Sancaktepe: 68–74 km

Beylikdüzü sits at the western end of the European side and our depot, in Abdurrahmangazi Mahallesi, on the Anatolian side. OSRM / OpenStreetMap (car profile, September 2026) gives Yakuplu 68.4 km and 53 minutes, the district centre 69.0 km and 52 minutes, Gürpınar 73.9 km and 59 minutes: roughly 68–74 km and 52–59 minutes without traffic, across the Bosphorus. A loaded truck's route can differ; KGM's table sets vehicle-class limits on some bridges, and we settle that at the survey.

The share of narrow or one-way local streets is highest in Cumhuriyet (11 percent), then Adnan Kahveci (9) and Büyükşehir (7); in Dereağzı it is 1 percent. On the shore the issue is slope: 45 percent of Sahil's local streets are steep. Mapped parking areas number 15 in Adnan Kahveci, 12 in Gürpınar and 11 in Marmara, and none in Sahil or Yakuplu.

Gated-site belt in the north, slopes in the south: six neighbourhoods

Alongside the 10 official neighbourhoods, the OpenStreetMap profile carves out Beylikdüzü OSB as a separate area; below are the six residential neighbourhoods whose street and access figures differ most. Street, parking and building counts come from OpenStreetMap, and relative slope figures from the Copernicus surface model.

  • Adnan Kahveci Mahallesi

On 31.4 km of local streets, narrow or one-way is 9 percent, steep 25 percent. 991 buildings and 15 parking areas are mapped; level data covers 8 percent of buildings, averaging 11.5. In site blocks the freight lift and entrance gate matter more than the street.

  • Cumhuriyet Mahallesi

Narrow or one-way share of 11 percent is the district's highest, and the ground is the flattest: mean grade 2.8 percent, steep 10 percent. Here the order of approach on a narrow street counts, not a slope.

  • Dereağzı Mahallesi

The largest neighbourhood at 6.596 km², with the longest local network at 73.6 km; narrow or one-way 1 percent, steep 32 percent. Streets are easy, but distances and grades run long; we look at the route on site.

  • Gürpınar Mahallesi

The farthest point we measured: 73.9 km and 59 minutes. Steep share 31 percent, narrow or one-way 5 percent (one-way 4 percent); at 4.7 per km² its parking-area density is the district's highest. One resident describes mostly 4-storey blocks and 1–2 storey detached houses around the crossroads.

  • Sahil Mahallesi

Steep share 45 percent and mean grade 6.4 percent make it the hilliest neighbourhood; narrow or one-way is only 2 percent and no parking area is mapped. On a slope, the distance from truck to door and the box size decide the job.

  • Yakuplu Mahallesi

Steep share 33 percent, mean grade 5.2 percent; no parking area mapped. The district authority puts the Ambarlı port in Yakuplu; as freight traffic may be heavy towards it, we discuss the route at the survey.

Getting ready for a pickup in Beylikdüzü

  1. 1.Half a home usually fits a small room

If one or two rooms' contents will wait, an 8 m³ (1+0) or 15 m³ (1+1) room usually does; for a whole home the 22 m³ (2+1) and 28 m³ (3+1) rooms usually fit. We confirm the size at the survey.

  2. 2.Call site management ahead

The municipality's market-shuttle routes name large sites such as Megakent, Adakent, Ada90, İhlas and Bizimkent. Ask management about the freight lift, entrance gate and car-park entry; taking a wardrobe carcass apart so it fits the lift shortens the job.

  3. 3.Allow for school exits and market day

Residents write that parents block the road at exit times in the schools district of Adnan Kahveci and Cumhuriyet, and one resident says the covered market in Adnan Kahveci is very crowded on Sundays. We pick the pickup day with you at the survey.

  4. 4.Small boxes, clear labels on a slope

In Sahil, Yakuplu, Dereağzı and Gürpınar 31–45 percent of local streets are steep. If the truck cannot reach the door, items are carried by hand; medium boxes and labels by room help. We see the carrying route on site.

  5. 5.Give the address with neighbourhood and site name

One resident writes that some listings near the Esenyurt border say "Beylikdüzü" although the address lies in Esenyurt. Give the neighbourhood, site name and door number. After the first fill you can visit the room on any day.

Questions about storage in Beylikdüzü

Does pickup differ between Yakuplu and Gürpınar?

We collect at the door in both. In our measurement the gap is about 5.5 km and 6 minutes (Yakuplu 68.4 km, Gürpınar 73.9 km). Steep shares are 31 percent in Gürpınar and 33 percent in Yakuplu, so the difference lies more in the slope and the truck's stopping spot than in distance.

Do I need permission from site management or the municipality?

In large sites management sets the moving rules; we found no municipal text on that, nor a published rule for removal vehicles, mobile lifts or temporary road occupation. The Zabıta Directorate's text covers construction-material occupation of streets. To be sure, call the Çözüm Merkezi on 444 09 39.

Can I keep my things in a room while I renovate a newly delivered flat?

Yes, belongings can stay in a room throughout a renovation; their volume sets the size, which we work out at the survey.

What does the municipality offer for old furniture and electronics?

According to its environmental services page, electronic waste is collected at the address on Wednesdays after registering with the Çözüm Merkezi. The Environmental Protection Directorate lists transport of furniture waste as a task but gives no line or day for old items. We suggest setting aside beforehand whatever will not go into the room.
