Esenyurt storage

From Esenyurt, storage usually means a trip from a gated block to a locked room across the Bosphorus. Our rooms are in Sancaktepe; we collect and deliver at your door and settle the route and the truck's spot at the free survey.

At a glance

  • Neighbourhood with the highest share of narrow or one-way streets: Koza (44 %).
  • Neighbourhood with the highest share of steep streets: Üçevler (67 %).
  • Smallest room: 1+0, 8 m³, ₺4,000 / month; the first month of room rent is on us.

Why people in Esenyurt look for storage

The district authority's record shows 1,003,905 residents (no year given) across about 57 km² and 43 neighbourhoods. Among buildings with mapped levels, the average is 31.8 in Gökevler, 27.9 in Yeşilkent and 23.1 in Koza, so some parts have tall blocks; yet 23 of the 43 neighbourhoods have no level data at all.

People rent a room for familiar reasons: a gap between two homes, renovation, a period abroad, downsizing or surplus office furniture. The İBB list of high-risk buildings to be demolished has a Yeşilkent entry dated 14.08.2025, and the municipality posted a notice to demolition contractors on 23.09.2026. We found no official text on the scale of urban transformation here, so we do not present it as the general reason.

The road from Esenyurt to our Sancaktepe depot

A vehicle leaving Akçaburgaz in Esenyurt crosses the Bosphorus to reach Abdurrahmangazi Mahallesi on the Anatolian side. A car-profile estimate from OSRM / OpenStreetMap (September 2026) gives roughly 62–65 km and 45–50 minutes without traffic: 62.4 km and 46 minutes to the centre, 63.0 km and 46 minutes to Akçaburgaz, 64.7 km and 50 minutes to Saadetdere. A loaded truck's route and time can differ, and KGM sets vehicle-class rules on some bridges; we agree the vehicle and road at the survey.

Streets vary by neighbourhood. In Koza 44 percent of local streets are narrow or one-way, in Piri Reis 35 percent, in Orhan Gazi 30 percent; in Saadetdere and Merkez none. 26 of the 43 neighbourhoods have no mapped parking area, and the municipality itself writes of a parking problem lasting years. We found no rule for moving vehicles; the Zabıta regulation covers improper pavement parking.

From Gökevler's tall blocks to Üçevler's slopes

Six of the 43 neighbourhoods whose data differs most. Figures come from OpenStreetMap and a Copernicus surface model, so grades are indicative.

  • Gökevler Mahallesi

69 buildings over 1.157 km²; 36 percent have level data, averaging 31.8 storeys. Narrow or one-way streets: 1 percent; steep: 23 percent. When collecting from a tall block, lift size and the loading spot matter more than the street itself.

  • Koza Mahallesi

44 percent of 5.8 km of local streets are narrow or one-way; mean grade 3.6 percent, steep share 22 percent. Of 170 buildings 10 percent have level data, averaging 23.1.

  • Orhan Gazi Mahallesi

Large (3.525 km²), with 30 percent narrow or one-way streets. Its steep share of 18 percent is the lowest of the 43; mean grade 3.7 percent. Six parking areas are mapped. Flat ground helps; one-way streets make the approach order matter.

  • Piri Reis Mahallesi

35 percent narrow or one-way; mean grade 7.6 percent, steep share 55 percent. 37 buildings are mapped, with no parking area and no level data. Narrow and sloping: small boxes, a short carry, a truck spot checked in advance.

  • Saadetdere Mahallesi

1,199 buildings on 0.347 km², no mapped parking. No narrow or one-way streets, mean grade 3.9 percent, steep share 23 percent; the depot is about 64.7 km and 50 minutes away without traffic. Streets are easy to navigate, but in such dense housing the vehicle's waiting spot needs to be planned ahead.

  • Üçevler Mahallesi

Steep share 67 percent is the highest of the 43 neighbourhoods, mean grade 8.0 percent; narrow or one-way only 3 percent. 1,107 buildings on 0.443 km², with no mapped parking area and level data on well under 1 percent of buildings. Slope, not width, is the issue.

From tall blocks to the Bosphorus crossing: Esenyurt tips

  1. 1.One or two rooms, or the whole home? Room size in Esenyurt

Our rooms are 8 m³ (1+0), 15 m³ (1+1), 22 m³ (2+1) and 28 m³ (3+1). If a renovation empties a room or two, a small room usually does; for a whole home, take the room matching its type. We confirm the size at the survey.

  2. 2.Ask about the block and its lift

Ask site management about a freight lift or a move-out time rule, especially in tall-block neighbourhoods like Gökevler, Yeşilkent and Koza. Dismantle wardrobe carcasses that will not fit the lift.

  3. 3.Small boxes, clear labels

If the truck cannot reach the door, boxes are carried by hand, and on slopes such as Üçevler and Piri Reis that tires as much as distance. Use medium boxes, label them by room and pack heavy books separately.

  4. 4.Questions for the survey

Ask where the truck can stop, how many floors and which lift, how many large pieces, and how the Bosphorus crossing is planned. Give the neighbourhood with the street number; most streets here are numbered.

  5. 5.Visit the room

You can visit on any day; one visit after the first fill, to bring frequently needed boxes forward, is often enough.

Questions about storage in Esenyurt

How long is the trip to the Sancaktepe depot?

About 62–65 km and 45–50 minutes without traffic by car; 62.4 km and 46 minutes to the Esenyurt centre. The road crosses the Bosphorus and a loaded vehicle's route and time can differ. Source: OSRM / OpenStreetMap, September 2026.

Can you collect from the upper floors of a tall block?

We offer door-to-door pickup; lift size, the site's move-out rule and the truck's stopping place are settled at the survey. The map shows averages of 23.1 to 31.8 levels in Gökevler, Yeşilkent and Koza.

What if my street is narrow or one-way?

In Koza, Piri Reis and Orhan Gazi, 30–44 percent of local streets are narrow or one-way. If the truck cannot reach the door, belongings are carried by hand. We look at the street at the survey.

Can I store belongings during a renovation or demolition?

Yes; the volume you clear determines the room. The İBB list has one Yeşilkent demolition entry dated 14.08.2025, but we found no official text on the scale of transformation.

Is a municipal permit needed for the vehicle?

We found no separate rule for moving vehicles on Esenyurt Municipality's pages. To be sure, call the Zabıta Directorate on 0212 620 59 08 or the call centre on 444 0 411.
