Steep streets and loading
According to map data the neighbourhood covers 3.2 km², with 19.2 km of local streets and 11.1 km of through roads. Gradient is what matters here: 32 % of local streets count as steep and the mean grade is 5.2 %, roughly one street in three. One-way or narrow streets make up only about 3 % each, so the difficulty is slope, not width. For a loaded truck, a slope directly affects where the vehicle can pull up and how many steps heavy pieces are carried from door to lorry.
The map shows 10 parking areas covering 12,901 m², or 3.2 per square kilometre. We agree beforehand where the vehicle will stand rather than count on free kerb space. Floor counts exist for only 3 % of the neighbourhood's 1,537 buildings, so building height and lift data cannot be read from the map; if you live in a complex or apartment block, check the goods-lift rule with management and pass it on to us.
Our depot is in Abdurrahmangazi, in the same district. By OSRM car-profile estimate, addresses across the district are about 1–15 km and 0–30 minutes from the depot without traffic, while the straight line between the two muhtar's office points is about 2.7 km (our calculation). No Bosphorus crossing is involved; we promise no duration, because slopes and the hour change the result.
Known places in the neighbourhood
Muhtar's office address
İBB's muhtar's office dataset lists Veysel Karani Neighbourhood Muhtar's Office at Zaloğlu Rüstem Cad. No:18. The data is dated June 2025, so confirm before you go. It works as a reference point when guiding a driver or describing a pickup address.
M5 Veysel Karani and Samandıra Merkez points
In İBB's June 2025 station point data, Veysel Karani station falls inside the neighbourhood, about 527 m in a straight line from the muhtar's office point, while the preceding stop Samandıra Merkez lies inside Osmangazi neighbourhood, about 1.8 km away in a straight line (our calculation). The under-construction label in that dataset is out of date. If you plan to reach a room by metro, we have not measured the walk; check at the exit.
Place on the M5 line and opening section
According to the metro.istanbul page recorded in our September 2026 district research, Veysel Karani follows Samandıra Merkez on the line and the Samandıra Merkez–Sultanbeyli section opened on 22 May 2026; that the station opened with this section is our inference from the station order.
Which room for which flat
1.8 m³ for a 1+0
A one-person flat's bed, boxes and a small wardrobe usually fit here.
2.15 and 22 m³ for 1+1 and 2+1
We found no floor data on local housing, so we cannot say which flat type suits which size. A bedroom set, sofa and appliances decide it; the free survey does the sums.
3.28 m³ for a 3+1
For emptying a whole home or merging two households. How much fits becomes clear once we measure and plan the room.
4.What to bring to the visit
Measurements of large pieces, door and stair widths, and a photo showing how close a vehicle can get to your entrance.

Frequently asked in Veysel Karani
Do the steep streets make it hard for a truck to arrive?
Map data shows 32 % of local streets as steep, with a mean grade of 5.2 %. At some addresses a vehicle may not reach the door, and heavy pieces are then carried a short way by hand. We plan the route and the stopping place beforehand.
Do I need permission for a vehicle to stand on the street?
We looked for the municipality's rule but could not reach its website, so we cannot say. Ask your building management and the municipal enforcement office; we then settle the stopping place together.
Is the metro station in my neighbourhood open?
İBB data lists it as under construction, but that data is dated June 2025. The Sultanbeyli section opened in May 2026; for the current status, see metro.istanbul.
How far is the depot from my neighbourhood?
By OSRM car-profile estimate, addresses in the district are about 1–15 km and 0–30 minutes from the depot without traffic, and the straight line between the two muhtar's office points is about 2.7 km (our calculation). We have not measured a neighbourhood-specific drive time; it depends on your street and the hour.
