Where storage demand comes from in Eyüpsultan
On 15.10.2025 the Municipality announced that the Alibeyköy plan, prepared with İBB, had gone on public display; it covers Akşemsettin, Çırçır, Alibeyköy, Güzeltepe, Yeşilpınar, Karadolap, Merkez, Esentepe, Sakarya, Silahtarağa, Emniyettepe and 5. Levent. A March 2025 item says 90 buildings were found at risk under Law 6306 and 80 demolished. A household in this belt may have to keep its belongings somewhere until it moves into a new home.
Outside Rami Yeni, no neighbourhood has level data for more than 10 percent of its buildings; Rami Yeni has it for 96 percent (an average of 3.7 levels). We therefore pick the room by volume at the free survey, not by flat size.
From Eyüpsultan to the depot: the Bosphorus and the streets
From Feshane to İhsaniye in the north, Eyüpsultan is on the European side; the vehicle to our Sancaktepe depot crosses the Bosphorus. Loaded vehicles may differ; no timing is promised. KGM closes the 15 July Martyrs Bridge to trucks and directs them to the Yavuz Sultan Selim Bridge.
In Rami Yeni 90 percent of local streets are narrow or one-way, in Nişancı 53, Topçular 43 and Merkez 41; in Göktürk Merkez 3 and in Mithatpaşa and Pirinççi 0. The Municipality calls parking an important problem. A phased traffic arrangement for pre-tram works on Hz. Halid and Eyüpsultan boulevards was announced (04.09.2026); we do not know today's situation.
Access notes from six neighbourhoods
The figures are approximate values computed from OpenStreetMap and the Copernicus elevation model. The neighbourhood count differs by source: 26 (İBB plan note), 28 (Municipality waste schedule), 29 (our map data). We picked the six whose data differ most.
Merkez Mahallesi
Narrow or one-way streets 41 percent, steep 55 percent, mean grade 8.7 percent; level data covers only 1 percent of buildings. On 28.09.2026 the Municipality announced a landslide on Sayfiye Sokak after a downpour, with 27 people from two apartment buildings evacuated as a precaution.
Rami Yeni Mahallesi
90 percent of local streets are narrow or one-way, the district's highest share, and 42 percent of local streets are one-way. 96 percent of buildings carry level data (an average of 3.7).
Esentepe Mahallesi
10.5 km of local street in 0.426 km²; the mean grade of 13.5 percent and the steep share of 72 percent are the district's highest. Only one parking area is mapped.
Akşemsettin Mahallesi
1,933 buildings in 1.342 km²; narrow or one-way 0 percent, mean grade 7.9 percent, steep 50 percent. İBB's 703-home project in the risk area shared with Çırçır is under construction, so site traffic is possible. The map shows no one-way streets, yet the Municipality wrote on 18.08.2026 that four were made one-way.
Göktürk Merkez Mahallesi
2,598 buildings, the district's highest count; 3 percent of its 50.3 km of local street is narrow or one-way, 30 percent steep. Residents write that new sites squeeze the streets, so we see the street at the survey. The Municipality's Göktürk Service Building: 0212 440 05 55.
İhsaniye Mahallesi
Only 54 buildings in 5.044 km², no level data. 30 percent of streets are narrow or one-way; the steep share of 24 percent is the district's lowest. Our farthest measuring point: 56.5 km, 48 minutes without traffic. One of seven neighbourhoods with a rural settlement area decision announced on 11.09.2026.

Five notes for Eyüpsultan
1.Pick the room to fit the evacuation plan
Our rooms are 8 m³ for a 1+0, 15 m³ for a 1+1, 22 m³ for a 2+1 and 28 m³ for a 3+1. A whole home usually fits the room of the same name. Label boxes by room.
2.Find the vehicle's stopping place in Rami and Nişancı
In Rami Yeni, Nişancı, Rami Cuma, Topçular and Merkez, 41–90 percent of local streets are narrow or one-way. Gathering boxes at the corner shortens the wait.
3.Separate heavy pieces on the slopes
In Esentepe, Sakarya, Emniyettepe and Silahtarağa, 62–72 percent of streets are steep. We can take the fridge and wardrobe on a separate run; leave a spare date for wet weather.
4.Keep broken appliances out of the room
The Municipality writes that it collects waste electrical goods such as fridges, washing machines and air conditioners from homes every Thursday; call 444 30 00.
5.Talk to the management in tall buildings
The mapped mean is 7.7 levels in Akşemsettin and 6.4 in Karadolap, but at most 1 percent of buildings there carry level data. Ask the site management about freight lift rules.
